EFFICIENCY BASED ON MARKER ASSISTED SELECTION FOR F2 POPULATION WITH ONE LOCUS MODEL: A SIMULATION STUDY

چکیده
Simulation study was done to evaluate QTL mapping and selection efficiency of molecular markers utilisation in the F2 population. The simulation started with formulating genetic configuration which consists chromosome maps models. Genetic model for diploid individuals is a two alleles each locus. that used mathematical additive, dominance, interactions different effects at locus, maximum interaction occurs between loci (digenic). constructed by using single locus model, multiple model. effect sample size, heritability, marker density observed. Three analyse position, i.e. regression, interval (IM) composite (CIM). Several parameters were specified this study: variability coefficient (GVC=15%), population mean (μ=10), epistasis variance ratio (f=0.1), dominance additive (r=0.25), AA:AD:DD 3:2:1 gene action, its interaction. first last located edge 150 cM chromosome. distance equal. Haldane’s map function simulation. performed Package on “R” software. With heritability 0.2, required size indicate associated 50 level higher than phenotypic screening on. Efficiency based (Em) (d) follows “reciprocal quadratic” function. phenotype (Ef) favourable traits function. Keywords: efficiency, markers, QTL,

a study on thermodynamic models for simulation of 1,3 butadiene purification columns
attempts have been made to study the thermodynamic behavior of 1,3 butadiene purification columns with the aim of retrofitting those columns to more energy efficient separation schemes. 1,3 butadiene is purified in two columns in series through being separated from methyl acetylene and 1,2 butadiene in the first and second column respectively. comparisons have been made among different therm...
A population genetics model of marker-assisted selection.
A deterministic two-loci model was developed to predict genetic response to marker-assisted selection (MAS) in one generation and in multiple generations. Formulas were derived to relate linkage disequilibrium in a population to the proportion of additive genetic variance used by MAS, and in turn to an extra improvement in genetic response over phenotypic selection. Predictions of the response ...
متن کاملMore on the efficiency of marker-assisted selection
Computer simulations were used to study the efficiency of marker-assisted selection (MAS) based on an index combining the phenotypic value and the molecular score of individuals. The molecular score is computed from the effects attributed to markers by multiple regression of phenotype on marker genotype. The results show that in the first generation the ratio RE of the expected efficiency of MA...
متن کاملa study on rate making and required reserves determination in reinsurance market: a simulation
reinsurance is widely recognized as an important instrument in the capital management of an insurance company as well as its risk management tool. this thesis is intended to determine premium rates for different types of reinsurance policies. also, given the fact that the reinsurance coverage of every company depends upon its reserves, so different types of reserves and the method of their calc...
mortality forecasting based on lee-carter model
over the past decades a number of approaches have been applied for forecasting mortality. in 1992, a new method for long-run forecast of the level and age pattern of mortality was published by lee and carter. this method was welcomed by many authors so it was extended through a wider class of generalized, parametric and nonlinear model. this model represents one of the most influential recent d...
